Collection: Buffers, Files, and Pumice

Files and buffers are the highest-turnover items in the salon. Buy them by the case and stop thinking about it.

Grit, plainly

The lower the number, the more aggressive the file. 80 to 100 grit shapes acrylic and removes length. 180 grit works the natural nail without tearing it. 240 and finer refine the surface before buffing. Using an 80 grit on a natural nail is how you thin a nail plate.

Buffers and shine

A buffer block smooths ridges; a shine stick brings the finish up without polish. For clients who don't want colour, a properly buffed natural nail is the whole service.

Pumice and callus work

Pumice bars handle heel and callus work during pedicures. Mini pumice is single-client use — priced so you can throw it away, which is the point.
