Collection: Nail Filing Bits and Accessories

Bits are consumables. Buying good ones and replacing them on schedule is cheaper than the client who leaves with a heat-damaged nail plate.

Matching the bit to the job

Carbide cuts fast and suits bulk removal on acrylic. Diamond is gentler and better around the cuticle and natural nail. Sanding bands are single-use — they're cheap for a reason, and reusing them is how infections travel between clients.

Grit tells you the aggression

Coarse grits remove product quickly and leave scratches you'll have to refine out. Fine grits shape and finish. Most techs run coarse for backfill and step down to fine for the surface.

When to replace

A dull bit generates heat instead of cutting, and heat at the nail plate is what makes clients flinch and what causes lifting. If you're pressing harder than you used to, the bit is done. Keep a carbide cleaning brush at the station and clear debris between clients — a clogged bit behaves exactly like a dull one.

We also stock replacement handpiece bearings and motor brushes, so a machine that starts to vibrate is a repair rather than a replacement.
