Collection: Nail Brushes

Ask any tech what they'd replace last and it's the brush. A good Kolinsky holds a bead without dropping it, snaps back to a point, and lays product where you put it.

Why Kolinsky

Kolinsky hair holds monomer better than synthetic and springs back to shape after every stroke. Synthetic brushes lose their point and start pushing product around instead of placing it. The difference shows up in your smile line.

Choosing a size

Smaller sizes give control for detail work and tight sidewalls. Larger sizes carry more bead and cover a full nail in fewer strokes, which is faster once your placement is confident. Most techs work from one size and keep a smaller one for finishing.

Care

Clean with monomer, never acetone — acetone destroys the hair. Reshape to a point and store lying flat or bristles-up. Never leave a brush standing on its head in a jar. Looked after, a Kolinsky lasts years.
